That felt odd when we arrived, especially when arriving after midnight. The hotel complex was a bunch of buildings no more than 3 floors and had to walk outside to get to our particular building. The layout of the place is unlike other Vegas casino/hotels. The resort fee increases the price by nearly 50%! More Show less I think this practice is deceptive - deliberately hiding the resort fee while advertising a come-on rate. ![]() I had already paid a nonrefundable $110.66 deposit for 2 nights, so it was too late to back out. I talked with the manager, but she was adamant and unsympathetic about paying the resort fee. ![]() At check-in they charged me $104.08 per night plus a $100 deposit (which they say is refundable 1 week after checkout). I wondered whether the resort fee was included in the total price, and after some deliberation decided "total" means "total", and if not, the wording would be "Total Price (including tax) = $71.20 + $32.88 resort fee & tax". It was confusing, because the bottom line price said, "Total Price (including tax) = $71.20". I looked for hidden fees and found none, until I got to the final payment page where there was fine print mention of a resort fee. I wanted a good hotel value, and seeing Tuscany Suites' advertised low rates ($72/night including tax) and reading good reviews sealed the deal. ![]()
